Default Chrome plated windshield frame

Looking to buy a chrome plated windshield frame for my 1930 Cabriolet.

My understanding is that Gene Bunce is now back in business after some tooling problems. Has anyone bought his frames after the summer and can you confirm that they still are up to the same quality as before ?

Next, where can I get one ?

I cannot readily find one one Brattons' website that seems to be one of the Bunce frames.

The one on Snyders' web site seems more likely to be one of the Bunce frames. However, when I call them up, asking if they are the Bunce frames, the lady answers "No, we are having them made"

Call Gene and ask him where you can obtain one. I have one from five years ago on my 68C Cabriolet and it is top quality.

I just love it when vendors provide "detailed" answers.

the larger shows like Hershey always have them for sale. I bought one for my 1929 Cabriolet 4 years ago and was not satisfied with it last year because of a poor chrome job. It was not money well spent and it got removed. Wayne

My understanding and someone involved would have to be fibbing....
Trautwein was making the bones of the Model A window frames for him.Now that may have changed and gene may be playing and finishing.
Any way they are very good not perfect for fine point but close enough
Thank you Gene!

BTW Gene used to sell direct and advertised in the MAFCA magazine
