It is a bit more expensive than ethylene glycol (prestone), and should be available wherever antifreeze is sold. I first used it in my Model A because it doesn't foam.

$7.99 a gallon on clearance at TSC, it. Doesn't get fairer than that !

Are you in Michigan ? I could pick you some up if you are. They also have corporate ordering with free delivery to your local store.

Wasted about 45 minutes on the internet this morning trying to find Sierra here in Colorado. Here is what I came up with.
Sears reseller had it about the cheapest.
True Value also lists it at about the same price, but internet order only.

http://www.sears.com/sierra-antifree...irectType=SRDT

The usual suppliers around here, Wal-Mart, Target, O'Reilly Auto,
Ace hardware, Advance Auto, Car Quest, Tractor Supply, NAPA, etc., etc.
either do not list it in their anti freeze section or show it as out of stock.

The Peak official web site shows several stores that carry Sierra. I tried all of them within 100 miles of my zip code and not one has it in stock.
Maybe other areas in the country have it but we evidently do not in Colorado.

I run Prestone Low-Tox too. No foam, no problems.

I buy it at O'Reilly's in Durango. True story: Hikers parked at trail heads have, on their return from a hike, found a dead marmont under the car and no coolant in the radiator along with a lower hose chewed through. Why would you cheap out and buy a coolant that poses possible death to pets?

Yup, Hoary Marmots are a PIA to back packers and car owners alike, but I wouldn't want to poison them either !

Recently in another thread discussing anti-freeze use, similar to this thread, someone also stated the $265 a gallon price ! I've got to believe that a decimal point is misplaced somehow ! However, was it PT Barnum who stated that there is a fool (with too much $) born/available every second ? I've paid somewhere around $25. a gal at O'Reilly and thot that that was high price .
