The Borge Warner T86 with R10 OD is a light weight 3 speed used in smaller Fords mid 50's into the 60's. It is a top loader with a 6 bolt top cover.. Curious if anyone has fit a top loader tower (39 or earlier) to it?

There are images online showing a top shift version, it's on a Stude forum, but doesn't include many details.

Why did I say something wrong.. if it works you can have a top load ford with OD, behind and 8BA and run it in your AV8

Actually Jeep and AMC used the same transmission with a top shift . All I need to do is find a jeep tower and give it a try
