Very pleased to see that Australia Post has now has a new service called "ShopMate". Advertised as "Shop like you live in the USA" they are also offerring a 15% shipping discount until 31 Dec 2016. Hopefully it will mean cheaper freight rates!

I have not tried it as yet; may be right time for a few "me" Christmas presents for the Model A.

If you buy for this Christmas, you might have it for next year. Australia Post has dropped the ball. It takes 2 weeks for club magazines to be delivered - I have seen it happen over the past month for all 3 of the club I belong to.

I don't know of any local clubs or societies that still send printed newsletters. Printing costs are horrendous.

A local society now has a facebook page and seems to be connecting with a whole new generation.

dont know if postage is cheap anymore,was gonna send over a magazine from Australia to California.$33.00 to send a $10.00 magazine ,ridiculous

Yup, it seems we are headed back to the days before postal services were available for anything more than an email or post on a website.
