Default Fender Identification

I usually hang out on the Model A Forum but hoping you guys can help me out. I have a set of fenders that I acquired many years ago. i initially thought they might go with a Model A but after talking to a number of Model A experts have come to the conclusion that they probably do not.

One determining characteristic is the width of the fenders - 11 inches from the mounting flange to the outside lip.

Does anyone recognize what these might fit??

Thanks - Hunter

I’m guessing they are ‘31 “wide bed” fenders. They are quite rare. Typical ‘30-31 coupe, roadster, narrow bed fenders are 12” wide.

My best guess...

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for your response. A friend had a set of the Model A wide bed pick up fenders and they were considerably narrower than 11 inches.

Not likely a Ford fender as they used three attachment points where the fender meets the running board. That casting with the hole in it attached to fender is also uncharacteristic of a Ford fender.
