New Barn Find
Well, after hanging out and watching what everyone else is having fun with I finally found what I was looking for. It's a barn find that was in Missouri covered with a tarp since around 1980. The car is a 1929 Model A Coupe with 1939 juice brakes. Anyway, here it is. Maybe someone will recognize it? Oh yeah, did I forget to say it runs?

Re: New Barn Find
What definition do you need? It was in a barn, covered since 1980.....pretty clear cut to me.......... I mean really, he has a new car and is happy and this is the reply you come back with? Why bother?

You're a blessed man to find such a really nice car!! It's got all the really good stuff. Vermin, my '29 coupe was stashed since '87 & is almost ready to fire up & drive. Are those REAL side raingutters? Mine just has "HIDE-EM" welt there. I wonder if REAL gutters were there originally??? If the Dog & I can answer any "29 coupe questions, just P.M. us. Bill W.

Re: New Barn Find
Make sure it is save to drive and then put lots of miles on it before winter. You will have great memories all winter long and will really be looking forward to spring. Enjoy!

Re: New Barn Find
I wouldn't keep it with all the rips in the seat. I'll take it off your hands.

Re: New Barn Find
Nice car. Drive it a bunch and make a list of things that you need to do this winter. The more familiar you are with the car the better you will be to judge what's necessary and what's for show. As you get some miles under your belt you may change your mind on what you want to do.Welcome to the Fordbarn.

Re: New Barn Find
Not to be nitpicking, but in the interest of safety, it appears to me the left front wheel is of the earlier A type. Does the edge of the wheel touch the brake drum, or is there a gap? If there is a gap, that wheel would be unsafe to drive with on that car. Hope you take this the right way, its a nice car, just be safe... Jim
