Anyone know if they make a wiring harness that is made for a AA Truck/flatbed??
Or do we make the wiring longer for the rear of the truck???

Bob,
The tail lamp wiring assembly is unique for the AA. There were seven variations of this assembly which depended on the month/year and makeup of the AA.
Information YOU need to know about your AA in order to get the correct wiring harness:

·Cowl Lamps being used? Yes or No (affects head lamp wiring harness)
·Head lamp design being used? (affects head lamp wiring harness)
’27 – early ’29 - fluted lens head lamps (has only one bulb – head/parking)
’29 – production end - TwoLite head lamps with two bulbs (head high/low bulb and separate parking bulb)
·Tail lamp design being used? – drum style or teacup style tail lamp (affects tail lamp wiring length)
·For drum style tail lamp – tail lamp bracket being used? (affects tail lamp wiring length)
·For fluted lens head lamps and drum style tail lamp – lighting switch being used? (affects tail lamp wiring length and connections)
·For 1931 AA131 – frame length? Specify 181-5/16” long frame or not (affects tail lamp wiring length)
·For AA157 - Extension wire assembly is required

The correct harness can be ordered from:
Chris Olsen – cell 541-410-8929
Bauer Electronics – Class Tech 541-389-6339
62935 Layton Ave.
Bend, OR 97701

The above contact information was correct as of 2/8/2011.

There is an article in the April 2011 Double A'er newsletter regarding AA Lamps and Wiring. This Double A'er can be ordered (see https://aafords.com/c/nl/#pn)

Tyree Harris can make you an exact copy of your harness. I have purchased several harnesses including one for my 1929 AA Stake Bed truck. Was very satisfied....
