Default A paper towel stopped my car from running

When our '28 coupe failed to start today I removed the distributor cap and found a small piece of paper towel, about the size of my little finger nail. Then I found four smaller pieces, one on each of the contacts inside the distributor body, just enough to insulate them from the rotor when it passed. NO MORE paper towels to wipe out the distributor body and cap, only clean, dry cloth rags.

Ah HUH!

That sounds like a lawsuit to me. I bet the directions on the quicker picker upper bag did not say "not for use on distributor cleanup".

Next time my wife restocks the pantry with them I'll be sure to check the package label to see.
