Any tips on painting scripts, emblems

I want to paint the hood emblems and scripts on my 41 Super Deluxe, any suggestions on where to get the Ford "Blue", and best way to accomplish this.
( I know I can't do it after I drink coffee lol )

I painted the lettering on my F1's hubcaps and hood trim. I went to the hobby shop and got a small 1oz bottle of the blue model car paint and a very small brush. It worked out pretty good, color seemed to look correct, just have to make sure everything's really clean before painting so it sticks ok.

I prefer "Sign Painters One Shot" paint. It is available at better hobby stores as well as Eastwood Supply. The dark blue is close to the authentic color used by Ford.
Sign Painters One Shot flows out nicely leaving no brush marks.
If you "paint outside the lines" it is easy to remove once dry with your finger nail or nylon scraper - something that won't mar the plating.

Nail polish from the dollar stores. Pick a blue or red shade that you feel looks right.
Brush included. Should last long time if your car is kept in a garage.
