Default Finally, pics of my '36 5 window

Worked on it over three years, and finally got it finished last summer. Drove it a couple thousand miles cruising and several car shows. Won a trophy at every show. Last fall on the way home from a cruise night a small deer ran into the driver's door and broke the mirror, cracked the window and dented the door, so I'll have to take the door off and so some repairs. It's a fun car to drive. Motor is a '36Lb, all eight holes sleeved and then bored .040, Potvin Super 3/4 cam, S10 4 speed, 9 inch rear end with 2.75 ratio (2000 rpm @ 60mph), 2 1/2 dropped front axle with Wilwood disc brakes. I bought the body sitting on a frame, no running gear, motor, rear fenders, firewall cut out with torch and half the floor the same, scrounged all the parts and did all the work myself except the upholstery and the machining of the block. Couldn't have done it without all the education I've received from the Fordbarn. Rod

I may be biased, but she is a beauty, indeed. Perfect stance too!
Did you have to split the wishbone for the mild dropped axle?
(Trying to avoid doing so to mine..)

Reference your hood sides and graphics - this is about as wild as I was going to get announcing the blown flathead under my 35 Coupe's hood (click to enlarge)

What heads are those? Don't look like Eddie Meyer but maybe. Swedes know how to work metal!

The heads and intake are Eddie Meyer repro's done by Don Orosco. With the "big" cam the several valves made contact with the heads so they needed to be cut for valve clearance. The setup you see--heads, intake, carbs and air cleaner came as extra parts with a '36 tudor sedan I ran across in the search for rear fenders for this coupe. I rebuilt and put the original motor back in the sedan. Rod
