Proper batt. location
I have a 1929 close cab and i'm looking for the proper batt. location I know it's under the drivers floor. I have a new battery support looking for the right holes to bolt in place. Thanks Pete

Re: Proper batt. location
If your battery tray is the original type, you will find it will only go in one way.

Re: Proper batt. location
Well, if you have a repro battery support it may not fit. My friend bought a new one and had it powdercoated only to find it's a piece of junk that doesn't even come close to fitting. I tried for a few minutes to make it fit becasue I thought there was no way someone would sell something that simple that doesn't fit.
Here's 4 pictures showing the black powdercoated piece of repro junk. The problem is my friend doesn't remember where he bought it. Just look at the bracket where it fits the edge of the frame and you can see the problem. Last edited by Tom Wesenberg; 07-11-2010 at 11:03 PM. |
