1928 Model a Pickup
I have a 1928 Model A pickup, title in Arizona as such. If I wanted to replace the cab with a 2 door sedan body what would I need to do as far as the title?

Re: 1928 Model a Pickup
You could just put the sedan body on and then continue on your merry way, but you should contact DMV or tag office and and they should know the paperwork for your State,
.

Re: 1928 Model a Pickup
My experience with the Arizona DMV has been good they will only become very concerned when you want to change the chassis they wont like that . I would go and enquire but sometimes a long wait for a counter maybe longer with Covid 19 . I would also check with your insurer before you go much further . I got an "asigned title" for a 30 pickup which would be more complicated than what you want to do . I think you will be fine but I think they will want to inspect maybe before and after . Stamp the frame number so the inspector can see it .
John in sunny Suffolk County England and even more sunny Chandler AZ when travel permits next Spring hopefully . |
