My photo collection - 1
I've enjoyed '2manycars' collection so much, here is my personal cache - most from the Depression Era program we have talked of before - http://photogrammar.yale.edu/

I like looking for vintage anomalies in vintage photos.
For example in the photos with the '28 Oval-Window Opera Coupe, I notice that it had 19" wheels from a 1930-'31 Model A. And too, the driver was looking for tools to repair his engine problem, by looking in his car's TRUNK - not a rumble seat. And no one could miss the over-sized 'eye brows' on the headlites of the '29 Fordor Sedan. |

Yes, Ray - I knew/know both facts. But in the interest of not wanting "to be too persnickety", in this case I chose to 'generalize'. Not always a good choice.
And while we are at it, it should be pointed out that the majority of coupes did indeed come with the trunk as a standard. However, today the 'rumble-seat' seems to have overwhelming dominance. |
