Re: A Tribute to Paul Garagan, Rumble seat.
I always enjoyed the accounts of his trips. He had a way of writing that had you riding right along with him.

Re: A Tribute to Paul Garagan, Rumble seat.
I don't know why I never saw this post - but Paul was a heck of a good guy and we eMailed ideas/thoughts back and forth many years ago. He was always willing to help another flathead nut out and his writings were some of the best. I really enjoyed the tales of his cross-country trips - something else to read.

Re: A Tribute to Paul Garagan, Rumble seat.
I'm glad this thread came to the top - I missed it the first time around.
I read his posts, and follow his advice to this day. I've saved a bunch of his material from 'pre-Ryan' and pre-billB. Always found it to be good info. Met him only once, LARS, several years ago. RIP (ps... anybody know if his beloved roadster is being cared for, and might be seen again - hopefully by his family ??) Last edited by bobH; 10-01-2014 at 05:08 PM. |

Re: A Tribute to Paul Garagan, Rumble seat.
I, too, did not know that "Rumbleseat" had passed. I was in the hospital from Thanksgiving 'till about March, and missed out on so much.
I got to meet him, twice, while he was in Florida. I really liked him and his roadster. Was very sorry to learn that. MIKE (mikeburch) |
