Can someone go to downtown Chicago to verify a VIN for me?

Hello Barners I am helping an old timer hot Rodder friend of mine buy a 36 five window. It is in downtown Chicago and before we pay we want to make sure the car actually exists and see the Vin number stamped on the frame.

Is there someone available that could help us do this and we would pay expenses etc. Jealous we wouldn’t be able to get a great Chicago deep dish pizza in the process. Please let me know phone number is 831-238-8235
