Less than "bubbly" Model A spotted
My middle daughter is working in Sargans, Switzerland. We email and talk (Skype) pretty often. Yesterday I got a quick email note from her, which read:
"Guten Tag Daddy! On my way to my German class a Model A passed me it was an ugly blue and looked kinda like Emma but wasn't as "bubbly." Ahhhhhh, fatherly success! She still calls me Daddy AND she can spot a Model A an ocean and a continent away! She also knows to compliment MY Model A's -- in this case, our Deluxe Roadster which (who), is the perfect example of a "twenty footer" ... except with enough gingerbread, shiny bits, and authorized (by me) accessories to make you overlook her flaws. Obviously, according to Stacy, the European version did not compare. I will not ask her to run down a picture (Sargans is not a large town) of the expatriot A because I don't want to learn that she's just buttering up the old man ... have you every heard a better description of a Model A Roadster than "bubbly?" |

Ahhh, Skip.
You spoiled it! I didn't even teach her the difference between an open car and a Tudor! |

Switzerland has quite an active Ford Club with lots of beautiful touring up in the Alps!
Here is the link to their web site with plenty of photos of their Model A's, and other Ford cars: http://www.ford-club-switzerland.ch Fordially, Brad in Germany |

Bruce,
Are you "sittiing" on the pot o gold at the end of that rainbow? Congratulations on raising an informed Model A daughter, Daddy. She sounds "bubbly" herself. If you're planning a Model A tour to Switzerland, count me in :>) Richard Anaheim CA |

Here's my latest email from Stacy: "Wahahoe!!! I just read Skip's post! I totally know the difference between an open car and a Tudor!!! That wasn't the car I saw! I was in Chur not Sargans. There were a bunch of Porsches and a Belair (Spelling???) and a lot of motorcycles... I think it was for some event! Boo to you for thinking I don't know the difference! But that was the color blue... Your offended middle Daughter" |

That is one well put together website. Even I can figure out Galerie! Somebody puts a lot of time/love into that web presence.
