Default Sticking thermostat 52 F1

Hi guys

My diver side stat is occasionally sticking. The truck is all stock (23 qt capacity).

Anyone know about how many gallons need to be drained out, to replace stats? The antifreeze in only about a year old and I plan to reuse after replacing stats.

Total guess but I would say it seems to be about 2-3 gallons.

Thanks for sanity check, I was thinking a about a third. Tomorrow, I’ll try 3 gallons and report back for next barner who may encounter same issue.
