That picture with the incorrect label is what has caused MANY people to think that there were 2 32 axles a "heavy one" and a "light" one. The mistyped label should read 33 to 36. While it is certainly possible a 33 axle got installed as a replacement some time later. There was no 32 "light" axle. They left the factory with the axle marked 32.
I am afraid this picture will never die and continue to confuse people.
If you don't believe me, DavidG will tell you they left the factory with the axle labeled 32.
