Default Rhinebeck 2014

Anybody count how many A's were at the show today.
Nice to see some of the cars that the frequent Barners' have displayed today.
I was surprised nobody wanted to park next to the " Pirate " Coupe.
The Pirate drove 152 miles round trip with no problems.
Sorry I had to leave early before all the later arriving good looking A's had a chance to park next to me.
Do I have the longest distance DRIVEN to the show today in an " A " ?
Tom

My club drove up and overnighted for the weekend. I drove 180 miles one way. Some of our members drove farther, some a little shorter. We had 11 cars there. Nice weather this year. Nice pirate car. Nice sun roof.

I was there on Sunday and the flea market was disappointing, most of the vendor spots were empty. Big difference from last year, maybe the rain Saturday evening sent many home......

I've never stayed to see the show on Sunday, but only missed the very first flea market when it started 40+ years ago. I bought all the T parts I needed for Bobtail Speedster, one of the best Rhinebeck flea markets for me that I can remember. Bob

Tom, we judged only 1 Open Model A (Class 4), 16 Closed (Class 5A), and only 3 Commercial (Class 5B). I thought there were more than 20 Model As, but maybe folks left their hoods down because of the wind. Mine was at the judging booth full of clipboards all day! Total was around 600 cars this year.
Joe
P.S. Many, many thanks to those who drive their As to the Rhinebeck show every year. There is always a very good showing of Model As and we're darn proud of it.

I thought there were more than 20 there but either way there seemed to be more A's there than any other one make. I was wondering who had the pirate coupe, you left about 15 minutes after we pulled in, I was parked next to the tree. I drove over from northwest CT with a Model A Vicky and a 1916 Franklin. Definitely the best show around my neck of the woods. Getting in free doesn't hurt either.
