Flathead 8BA Thermostat Question
Looking to install Stewart/RobertShaw high flow thermostats in my 8BA
and my question is should I use the ones with or without bypass holes Thanks, Bill

always use the ones with the by pass holes, they prevent air locks and let the thermostats opem faster because a little water is allowed to flow past bringing hot water to them

I drill two 1/8" holes in the non-bypass types. For the reason described by ford1.
