Default What Auto-Lite heater bolts to use?

I have the Auto-Lite heater that has two bolt holes which have both come out somewhere along the way. What do I get to replace and who sells it? Can’t find anything on Snyder’s or Bert’s.
Most grateful indeed…

Are you referring to the bolts that hold the cover down?, if so I will have to check when I get home but I think they are something like1/4”X 3(?). Like I said I will check mine when I get home.

Same bolts as the oil pan only use with lock washers.

Yes, to hold the cover down.
Thanks so much indeed.

Yes, same as mine. Hardware store item. No need to order from a vendor. Don't forget to get a couple lock washers. That cover can make a heck of a noise if it rattles loose.

I have the manifold and the shell that goes over it, with a broken bolt and I'm considering drilling and tapping it out and using a SS stud in place of a bolt with a nut and washer. It is very common to see manifolds with a broken bolt. The rust really locks them up and the heads twist off. Anybody ever try this? and how did it work?

We, being RHD can't use those heaters but from what I've seen of them, wouldn't they get too hot for a lock washer? They are part of the exhaust manifold and so get close to red hot. I suspect that would be hot enough for them to go soft. Maybe, because I have never seen one, I am wrong but I'm sure they get HOT.
If I'm wrong, I will not drop my bottom lip if you say so.
