SOLD IN JUNE!!
This speedster is titled in Texas as a 1929 Ford Roadster.
The DMV said they do not have a code for 'Speedster' so Roadster is the assigned model.
The following is the description of the Speedster:
* 1929 Ford frame - boxed for strength,
* Rebuilt 1948 ford flathead with offenhouser dual intake and 2 stromberg 97 carburetors,
* 36 Ford floor shift transmission,
* 1940 ford front & rear axles with hydraulic brakes,
* 1935 Ford spoke wheels with new Firestone WW tires,
* Grant 'Spyder' steering wheel mounted on a 72 Ford Bronco steering column,
* Auto Meter Old Tyme white-face guages, all electronic package . . . Tach, temp, amp, speedo, fuel, etc
* Aluminum radiator custom built to fit into 1930 radiator shell,
* Stainless stoneguard over radiator (added after first picture taken),
* Steel luggage trunk,
* 1930 Ford stainless steel headlights,
* Chromed windshield frame with glass installed,
* Steel, 1931 front fenders & side splash aprons,
* Custom, modified fiberglass rear fenders,
* Rootlieb Speedster body, including seat frames, sub-floor, gas tank, Cowl & hood,
* custom upholstered bucket seats,
This Speedster is 99.999 % completed, and has been driven a few miles to a couple car shows, but stll needs some
minor work, such as the turn signal and horn wiring completed.
I've got much more invested than my list price, but I've run out of room to store it!
