Default New guy with a 30 Closed Cab Pick up

I am new to the site. Have a 1930 Closed Cab Pickup. Driveable but needs restoration.
Would like to make contact with any Model A folks in the Memphis, Tn. area.

I don't know what I am more jealous of the truck or the shop? Welcome aboard.

Unfortunately the shop is not mine. It belongs to the fellow I bought the truck from.

160B thanks for the response.

I ccontacted MAFCA several weeks ago as the Memphis Chapter appears inactive. I asked for Model A contacts in the Memphis area but so far have not had a reply.

Welcome GPierce,

You were lucky to get a pickup. Remember: NEVER throw anything away, Join a club and get two books-Lew Andrews little red book and the Ford Service Bulletins.

Welcome to the Barn!! That Looks like a nice solid pickup .

I would be tempted to get it running and use it for a while. You might not be to far from Brent I'm sure he knows all the local Model A people .

I agree with John.
If your avatar is the pickup, that looks great, and I'd drive it and get to know it first. From what I see in the one picture though, it looks like one I'd be sure is road ready, and just drive it.
