1932 Ford V8 fan blade question
Hello everyone. I started cleaning up my 32 V8 fan for my project and realized that the ends of the fan blades are cut differently. Two blades have a flat on the tip and the other two are more rounded.
Is it possible that this was a method of balancing from the factory or has it simply been cut "massaged" at a later date? If it was cut, which blade is correct? Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Re: 1932 Ford V8 fan blade question
32 fans are a tricky thing in that because they are so far out from the gen, the slightest out of balance thing is a big problem.

Check the balance of the fan blade's , put a drill bit about same size as the poilt hole ,hold the drill bit Horizontal ,the heaver blade's will rotate down, Make a templet of the light blade (cardboard -paper )
& duplicate to the others . |
