Default 1932 Ford V8 fan blade question

Hello everyone. I started cleaning up my 32 V8 fan for my project and realized that the ends of the fan blades are cut differently. Two blades have a flat on the tip and the other two are more rounded.
Is it possible that this was a method of balancing from the factory or has it simply been cut "massaged" at a later date?
If it was cut, which blade is correct?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

32 fans are a tricky thing in that because they are so far out from the gen, the slightest out of balance thing is a big problem.

Check the balance of the fan blade's , put a drill bit about same size as the poilt hole ,hold the drill bit Horizontal ,the heaver blade's will rotate down, Make a templet of the light blade (cardboard -paper )
& duplicate to the others .

Depending on the use you intend for the fan, you may wish to consider replacing it as judging from your photos all of the blades have been shortened and its capacity to move air reduced accordingly. As '32 fans are much more expensive than say '33-'36 fans, you could buy one of the latter fans and drill out the rivets and use the blades from that fan on your '32 fan hub.
