IDT it is a real strange number on his master. My core MC has the identical number as shown in pics and I just randomly grabbed that one cuz the handiest. My rebuilt PB one from Kantor has a different number, but of course it has the different size 1 1/8 bore. I wish they were rare cuz I probably have more of them, though most of my 57-58 cars were PB.

The AJ-2155-A is a CASTING ID PART NO. It identifies the part (in this instance just the bowl itself).

2140 is a SERVICE BASIC PN, and indicates a complete MC assembly. If you look closely on the example on EvilBay, it also has 1" cast onto the MC body (Manual Brake).
