1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe

All stock except for the engine 1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe. Owned for past 17 years. All original body, original beautiful wood grain dash and trim with Lebanon Bonney interior. No rust California car. Engine is period 1950 correct hot rod 125 HP 8BA with 39 heads, crab distributor to look like 1939 sleeper engine, with 85 HP. All body panels original to car. The car is a driver .

The car has not been cleaned since last fall. It is dirty and dusty in these pictures and is not prepped for the new season.

Hard to let it go, but maybe it’s time.

New old stock 1939 Ford heater, never installed. including all original vents
hoses adapters for defrosters. Complete wiring with correct 1939 switch, sorry 1940 knob.

Original stock working radio and speaker. Convertible version, with small 5 x 5 radio box. My opinion, the factory delete plate is nicer than the factory radio, but does not sound as good.

Rebuilt stock 1939 85 hp engine correct and complete. Starter,
generator, water pumps, distributor, carburetor, aluminum intake, exhaust manifolds, NOS Sleeves, did not need them. Had them so they went in. Original sleeved motor from factory, very nice original engine which appeared to have almost no use to start. New rings, valves, cam shaft with modern oil pump for excellent oil pressure. On motor stand, can start and run.

1939 Ford dual core radiator converted to California single core style with catch can for California emissions rules. Car has correct dual core 39 Ford radiator
