Default door panels 48 coupe

I am installing front door panels but I need bottom clip hole locations, could use the help THANKS

You are probably going to need to make a template from the holes in the door.

As suggested first make a pattern of the door and the existing holes. The standard clips to hold the panel are offset. Get a sample clip which will give you the offset and make the holes in the panel using the offset measurement from the clip..

Clamp the panel in place and use a gizmo like this to locate the clip hole; then make the holes in the panel at the correct offset. I try to set them so the panel hangs from the clips.

If you have a friend that's an aircraft mechanic ask him to borrow a hole finder of the same diameter as the hole in the door.

If you have the $, I might recommend just getting a panel set from Mac's. I got a set for my Tudor that I'm currently having covered. They look pretty good and include even the small panels for the sides of the windshield and pillars. The holes are pre-punched. https://www.macsautoparts.com/ford_m...dan-coupe.html.
