Is this a Model A part? And if so, where is it used and on what model. Thanks in advance.

Re: Part ID
It looks like a main top bow support for a sport coupe but I can't tell you for certain nor which year model. My 29 doesn't have the rounded clip on the side like that since it has a support that connects the rear bow with the main bow where the landau bar attaches. The oval window support for the business coupe is different as well. Maybe a 1930, I don't know.

Re: Part ID
I was thinking it might be from a Cabriolet or Sport Coupe.

Re: Part ID
Here is a link to the Sport Coupe pieces.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1928-1931-M...ty!78205!US!-1 You can tell they are different. I don't know what the Cabriotets have. The whole Bow folds back since the landau bars actually work on them. There are three different set ups depending on the year for them I don't know if other companies made similar models or not. They may be wood braces for some other open car too. |

Re: Part ID
There were two types of set up for the business coupes in 1929. The 28 & early 29 models had no window and used all the same stuff as the sport coupe except there was no landau bars or mounts for them. The oval window set up came along later in the 29 model year and has a frame that supports the rear bow on the sides and also holds the oval window. This frame attaches directly to the wood main bow & down to the rear tack strip but it has to hold the whole rear bow on the sides so it's a bit beefier than the ones for the sport coups and earlier business coupes with no oval window. You can see photos of it in this link.

Re: Part ID
This picture is pretty much self explanatory. Found it on the web. It might even be someone on the Barn.
Thanks for the help guys.
