I know I did not get permission from by Mitch to use his photo , but I thought this conversion to B&W would make it look like it was taken in Fall 1930

HA! Jim did pinstripe it - it is french grey on Dawn Grey. We did try Straw - which shows up better, but thought the grey was nice. See pic...

Thanks Mitch! Jim is a great guy and the best striper.

There is a great thread in the early V8 group of fords in the fall - that is what gave me the idea http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=179732

Thanks. It is Dawn Grey and Dawn Grey light. 1928 colors, but reversed. Wouldn't pass for fine point but does great for driving around in the fall. Notice how pale it looks in the full sun in one picture - that is not a good representation of the color. The other "darker" more saturated colors are more representative.

Now that I looked closer I can faintly see the pinstripe in your first picture. Those sure are beautiful colors, and I hope I can see it in person some day.

Thanks Tom. I can assure you in person the stripe shows up very nicely.

Possibly Toledo?

A couple weekends ago, a few of us went on a fall color drive in Southeastern Minnesota. All three of us own 1929 Model A Tudors and with all the side trips, we covered about 180 miles for the day.

Tom, the old gas station is a mini museum and located in Wallen, MN. It is open to the public most weekends when the weather is nice. The drive-through stone barn is located is a very rural area between Chatfield and Racine, MN.
