Sorry about the screws. You're only original once, I guess. Speedy recovery and I hope somebody's spoiling Buster T.

I'm sure Bill will recover quickly , he is a tough old bird. I also understand the devotion our four legged friends can give us. I lost two of my little buddys this year alone.

Get well soon Bill.

As a relative newbie to the forum and an almost daily reader, I will miss Bill's humorous comments until he is back in the saddle. Speedy recovery to you Bill.

Hope it was an all american old car that did the deed.

If it was a riceburner, Bill would still be picking the plastic out of himself.

Hope he gets a chuckle when he reads this...

Not only do we have to protect our "A"s from other idiot drivers but now we have to protect Bill too.....better keep him in bubble wrap when he comes home!!
Thank God he made it and nurses beware!

Get Well soon Bill!

I cringed hearing what had happened - I really hope you're OK, and get back on your wheels soon...

Maybe you can get a faster scooter, and beat off the cars:

Many hospitals have lap tops for patient use. Hopefully his hospital does and he can see that his friends on Fordbarn really care !

Bill thanks everyone for the well wishes, prayers, support and will read them on cindys iPhone when she visits. I did talk to her about getting an iPad, tablet, or laptop to him but his wishes are to not have constant internet access so he can concentrate on his therapy and recovery. Keep him in your thoughts as I know it will make a huge difference.
Your all a great group of people

Mitch, tell Bill the first month is the hardest. I broke my leg skiing big time years ago and still remember the pain those first weeks. Tell him it gets better with time and those screws will hasten the recovery. Tell him my dog Honey wishes him good luck and also says hi to Buster T.

Will do Barry,

As soon as the bones start to connect they will spring him free. Until then he said he's treating it like a vacation
