Default attention late 30's convertible sedan owners

I am looking for a part unique to convertible sedans. Its the pillar post, the piece that fits between the front and rear windows when rolled up. Ford made them removable. Mine is a 39 sedan deluxe. I'm thinking its not available. Maybe I can fabricate something close, but I would like some good photos of one. I see how the bottom fastens, but not the top. I also need to replace the rag top first. Rack seems all there, but the bows will need replacement.

Our 40 Mercury Convertible Sedan has them......I hope after all these years.....I wonder IF the Mercury's are different than the Ford's...I'm sure!!!
