Default speedometer cable bracket...Location!

Well a little detective work and reading landed me the location. In my early post as stated, I had no bracket mounted, and today I found out why.

Got a flash light out and got looking @ the underside of the frame just below and past the MS bracket location and could see two wear marks 1st pic. Above the frame 2nd pic, could see the old bolt threads sticking up.

The last picture shows the final result. Any one who did not have one or like mine was long ago worn off, here you go. Scott

Thanks for sharing what you found out. Now I will have to get my cable properly mounted down.

39portlander, Is that a little plastic bag hanging from your wishbone?
Here's the bracket with original screw on my 40. I encased cable in rubber hose.
