Default how to adj toe in need help

hello
my toe is about 1" off and I need to adj to correct setting
I do not need the setting just need to know how to adj it what do I loosen and what do I turn to make adj do you adj one side or both

When you loosen the end clamps on the tie rod, then you can turn the rod and it adjusts both ends.

thank you tom and bob I bought a wheel-o-matic toe mach with shipping for 57.00 I got the one for small cars wish I got the bigger one but made it work got it adj in spec now I hope I don't ware out anymore tires I have to go to smith and jones to get new bolts to put in the tie rod ends to tighten them then test drive it it was almost a inch to far toe in

Sometimes people add toe in to overcome problems of looseness and shimmy, so drive it carefully until you are sure there aren't other troubles.

When I bought my A the toe in was also about an inch or more. Terrible to drive. Drove it home, 170 miles and completely wore out an almost new set of fire stones on the front. I adjusted my toe in with a tape measure after checking rim trueness. My new tires haven't wore hardly a bit in many thousands of miles and drives great.
