A friend of mine talked to the fella that built that car.
He talked to him at Back to the Fifties a few days ago.

The TWO engines both have TWO blowers on each of 'em.
A lot of exotic engineering work to build it, as you can see.

I like it.

I saw a guy at the Lake with an old Biesemeyer boat with a Huey helicopter engine in it hooked up to a V-drive. Also crazy but I liked it too.

And another guy at the same lake with an old flat bottom boat with twin turbos feeding a blower on a BBC.

I'm not saying they were practical or good ideas but they were well done and cool as heck. Both guys had plenty of money, liked to tinker and were fun to talk to.

How many points does he lose because of 1933-34 closed car door handles rather than 1932 roadster type...

LOL

Those are not Boss 429's, I believe they are Ford Mod-Motors - over-head cam stuff . . . fairly small cubic inches.

Those are not V-Belts, but serpentine belts . . . pretty common on a lot of modern supercharger setups.

I did find out some factual info on the engines in the Blue '27 Ford roadster.

They are Not the Ford 429 Hemis as I had heard, but they Are, as B&S has
said, the Ford 4.6 all aluminum, Double overhead cams, Hemi engines.
I was told they make they make about 1,200 horse power.

You guys are just a anti valve cover, had it been four flatheads you'd be showering it with compliments. Except for some of you guys griping about them not being four "original" '32 engines. You would need four '32 radiators and grille shells to keep it from overheating.

Thank you, Lanny and Pete for the links. They put the car in better perspective and also the skill of the builder/owner....very talented guy!! (not my cup of tea, but I still can appreciate his skill.)

Thanks for your reply RKS. I agree that even if it's Not someones cup a tea, one
should be able to imagine the skill level and time it takes to design and fabricate
some of these automobile works of art.
Years ago, I seen one of the Batmobile creations at one of the big Autorama car
shows. I too did not have any desire to own a Very Exotic car like that, but I
marveled at the tons of workmanship that went into that build. Me and a friend
looked that car over and over till our eyes were very tired.
The great workmanship just jumped out at you, over and over again. I have
Never forgotten it and never will. That car had so many trick things done to it.

Even if it's Not your cup of tea, like RKS did, take the time to look things over
and hopefully, you will learn something and be glad you did...
