according to Ford parts list the b-7515 clutch fork is used on a-b-18 vehicles,I think the 18 number means the 32 v/8,it is listed at.25 cents.

the 28-37 printed in 45 book lists it with a 48 prefix---and by 45 it was up to 45 cents
early 28 multipal disc clutch is different

Called the "Green Bible" by some, the 1928 thru 1948 Ford Chassis Parts Catalog can be found in CD form and paper copy form. It generally doesn't list superseded part number. Mostly just the last revision of the part used was listed at time of the last original printing in November 1950.

The Model A only used the one made for the model A vehicles. The model B through 1948 all used the same basic part but the last revision of that part was in 1934 with P/N 48-7515. The last use of this part was for the Ford Bonus Built light trucks thru 1952 so there are still plenty of them around.

Clutch arms vary by year. There is a chart with photos on here somewhere.

According to my "Green Bible" The same fork is used for 28-48 pass. cars and lite commercial EXCEPT MULTIPLE DISC CLUTCH (Early 28).

I have several forks from model A and later V-8 and they all look the same.

So the answer to your question is yes.

Ford made the fingers a little bit longer for a reason. While the later part will work on the model A, the model A part may not work as well on the V8. It will fit and it will function but it may take more pressure to push the clutch plus the free play adjuster would have to compensate. The model A parts have variations other than the A 7515 A. Some variations might be better than others.

Mac VP's link has the photo of the control arms. http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/f...ed-options.htm

I was wrong about the last use of the clutch fork. It was also used in the Ford tractors through 1954.
