Default Front spindle.

I'm in the process of rebuilding the front end of my Victoria. New balls on steering arms, shorter pitman arm, e-z steer teflon seats, king pins and bushes. Is there a difference between the right and left spindle? They look the same to me, but I don't want to mix them up. I know there is a difference in king pins.

The Spindle Bolts (AKA King Pins) have a left and right because the bulb for the brake operating shaft needs to be forward of the spindle pivot axis. Otherwise the bushings, roller bearings, lock bolts, etc. are the same left & right.

Be sure to add shims to assure that the roller bearings are bearing the weight of the car when the lock bolts are tightened.

Bob, how many shims do you add? How do you know how many to add?
