Re: 1950 f1 vin questions
The wheels on F-1s were body color. So black would be correct on yours. The bigger F-2 and F-3 models used black with all the standard body colors. Stu

Re: 1950 f1 vin questions
Update on the truck,I finally got rid of those ugly mags that someone had on it.A good friend had these Ford script tires and rims with trim rings and I got a set of caps from my brother. We also made up some farm truck sides for it,I think it looks much better.I'm putting new glass in it this week.I drove back and for to work this week on it's madin voyage,so far so good.

Re: 1950 f1 vin questions
The grille guards are rare. They were made primarily for the 1948 to 1950 series. On the bed. In the bed, the interior fender relief was only present until late 1950. It is correct that the LD 3 spd went from floor to column mid year 1950. The HD 3 spd and 4 spd were still floor mounted.
