I'm ok with a cop pulling me over to check out my car. Unless I'm on my way to work. Then it's annoying. I have been pulled over while riding my dad's '77 Goldwing because the cop wanted to check it out.

I run all red lenses because I think they are safer. Other drivers expect to see red brake lights.

The rear drum style lights on my wifes 31 roadster has amber over red. However when the parking light or brake lights are activated the whole rear light shows all bright red. I installed the led in the rear about 4 years ago and it shows all bright red even with the amber on top. Cant wait to get pulled over.....

My LED brake lights light the upper and lower also. Very easy to see.

FWIW I have ALL RED LED lamps in back, PLUS a red Third Light LED Bar, since its safer to conform then to have amber brake lights, etc.
That way turn signals, brakes and running lights all look like what other drivers are used to. I do a lot of night driving and need the odds in my favor on Long Island highways.
Shown is LEFT SIGNAL on with my LEDs.
