best source for parts/rebuild brake cylinder
I bought the last "new" brake cylinder I could find on the shelf anywhere in the state last year and the dang thing has leaked ever since installation.
I have the original Ford master and would like to rebuild that one, where is the best source for those parts shy of finding a good USA made master. thanks |

Haden’s 253-845-7020. I have used them several times over the years. I’ve never been disappointed. Good luck

Early Ford V8 Sales in South Carolina sells both new master cylinders and rebuild kits.

Mike: The original MC used back in 1939 and 1940 was more rounded than the one you show in your book. I had an original one resleeved when restoring my truck. I can not believe that NAPA has one today of this original shape. I still have a few of these old cores I have saved from many years ago. Let me know if you are not familiar with the original shape.........Larry |
