Motor seized
Have a 1931 Model A that sat for 20 years. It was running fine before it was stored. Tried to manually turn the motor over with the hand crank and it won't move. Suggestions?

Re: Motor seized
Hopefully it’s in the car and clutch isn’t stuck . Put in third gear and rock it forward and backwards
Most folks brew up 50~50 mixture and drop into spark plug hole . Is there oil in the pan o thick as hell She may break free , I’ve also pulled them with tow rope with other car

Re: Motor seized
Snyders sells a tool that replaces the starter and is turned with a socket and breaker bar. I have used this tool on the most seriously stuck engines with much sucess. By removing the starter you will know if it is the bendix locked on the ring gear also.
