1941 ford 1/2 ton Pickup
City:
gilroy
State:
CA
Price:
$24,000
This pickup started life as a farm truck in Modesto, Ca. It moved to Texas for 3 years and is now back in California. It has never been modified but has always been faithfully maintained. It had one re-paint many years ago but still looks presentable. V8 flathead with a 3 speed on the floor. All lights and gauges work with the gas gauge showing less than it actually is. Heater works, wipers need new blades and the vacuum hose was cut long ago and I have no idea if they still work or not. Due to arthritis in my neck, I can't do any under the dashboard work anymore. Has a working AM radio that I removed because I didn't like where it was mounted, but it goes with the truck. Newish wide whitewalls all the way around. Brake system gone through, radiator gone through, carb rebuilt, rebuilt crab style distributor installed, new coil, rebuilt generator, new battery, new gas tank, new king pins, tie rod and ends, new drag link.
She sat for a while so a lot of this needed to be done all at once, so everything is pretty new. Runs and drives great for an old girl. Anyone is welcome to come by and check it out or send someone they know from the area as long as I have a heads up. You can also call me at (408) 767-2040. I can't seem to upload photos here so if you send me your email address, I can send them to you. I also can't edit the price. If anyone is truly interested, I'll take $20K for it.
