Default It's About Time!

After all these years my 48 Merc is complete. The engine was made into a full house 276 cube in the early 50s and I have restored the car back to that era. The tires will be wide whites but I will go with these for a while as they are new.

Good lookin' Merc. I don't think they looked that good in the '50s

Great accomplishment - now you can enjoy the ride!
What type of transmission gearing and diff gearing are you running with your hopped up flathead?

I still have the original 3 speed trans and the 48 Merc rear. I have not checked what the rear ratio is. I have a T5 trans that I considered using but will probably go with a Mitchell overdrive if I hit the lottery.
