Default 1915 Model T Speedster

Hi all, thought id share some pictures of a speedster I bought from a family friend. So the story goes he built this car years ago, but he pulled the engine recently to put it in his 1915 center door coupe, since apparently that's more important. He was thinking about parting the speedster out for parts but end in the end he couldn't do it, and since he wanted to keep an eye on it and also since I had a spare engine laying around he sold it to me. Here's some pictures if your interested.

The 1914 engine is a great choice. That will be one swell rig.

Old thread but thought i would update this post. After 3 incompetent engine shops in Salt Lake City, the speedster engine is back home. Heres some updated photos of it. Slowly but surely. Trying for a August 20th car show, we will see what happens.

Looks good, I hope someone got rid of the fragile original valves that were in the first engine pictures. The lettered pedals were used through the first few months of 1915 model year, being replaced by the ribbed ones around the second month of 1915.
