Default Re: So what's in your garage?

Now you would think with the shop being full and no place for another body someone wouldn't go on a buying trip just before Christmas. Well, you'd be wrong. If you're a hoarder addict, you need a fix. I had to pick up some ebay purchases in Ill and South Dakota (41 pickup hood, 40 pickup steering column and cab parts), so I picked up this 1938 Standard 2dr in Kansas to help pay for road expenses.
The 1938 Std has 4 rough (junk) fenders, (I have two NOS on the shelf) bad panel below deck lid, bad doors, and missing hood and side panels. But it has a good frame, no rust in lower quarters behind the doors and a nice dash and windshield frame. So now the daily driver pickup parks outside in winter.
That hunk in front of the 1938 grille is a 1940 pickup cowl upside down with the floor over the engine.

The red deuce frame is just a run of the mill repro, with some accident damage, not real obvious. I plan to take it to a frame shop and have it straightened before I sell it, or buy a body to fit it. Thanks
