I had two of these trucks, sold one local and sold this one to NY state.

Can't help with code, but it is the later Lincoln green. Bill Hirsch carries it.

there were a lot of those engines mounted on welders/generators/pumps for WW2 use. I know of one local in a army generator

If those 4 cylinder engines were like 8N's or Jeeps engines, they were 134.5 ci and 34 HP, weren't they?

Sounds they were seriously underpowered.

Yes to underpowered, but very low geared in rearend, 4.55:1, I believe. And the first N series were 120cid, I think. I do st@ 2b corrected.
