Back from paint...
More motivation to the finish line getting my grille back from paint.
Thanks Gary for the tip on Vintage Vehicles in Wautoma who happened to have this diamond in the rough. Especially nice having the final piece to a project come from an area where I spent most of my childhood summers. |

Re: Back from paint...
The guys at Vintage Vehicles are indeed Awesome. They have polished a lot of stainless and aluminum for me.

Re: Back from paint...
I wish I could find the center stainless piece for my '39 pickup. Everyone I come across is beaten up badly. Your grille looks good.

Re: Back from paint...
Looks great but it needs some splattered bugs on it.

Those guys create magic. Buy the beat-up piece and send it to them. You will be pleased.

In '68 bought a dentless '38 half-ton from a close-by-county farmer(Wis) $150. Repaint appeared to have been done by a barn brooom; silverstreaked over random surface rust over Ford green. (outside-parked.) Orig flthd. Orig bald 'Ford' spare. excellent runner. |
