Sparton horn
I found this Sparton horn and am curious about it. I did some research and I know Sparton made millions of horns for decades for multiple cars so I don't have any idea what this may have come off, but most likely a Ford as it was in with the other Ford junk in the garage. There is some ID stamping under the mounting bracket but I'll have to soak the threads before I can remove it to see. In the meantime does anyone recognize what it might be off of by the shape of the mounting bracket? I'd also like to test it on the off chance it still works. Is there a way to tell if it's 6v or 12v and how would I go about testing it? Can I take it apart and rebuild it myself? I don't know how they work but I'd be interested in learning about it.
