Default Brake pedal

The early Model A's which had a multi disk clutch had a smaller shaft that the clutch and brake pedals were mounted to than the later model A's with the single clutch disk. Is the arm that connects the pedal to the brake cross shaft on each version the same length?? I have an early model A
a with the multi piece cross shaft and the brake pedal has been up graded to the later style. The car requires far more brake pressure than other Model A's that I have driven.
I'm thinking that if the old stile arm is shorter than the later stile then that would be the reason for the stiff brakes.

The split brake shaft was used from the start to November 1928. My car has the split shaft and requires the same pressure to stop as other cars with the later one piece shaft.

Check to be sure your brakes are properly adjusted.

The clutch release arm on the early models with multiple disc clutch is noticeable longer than the clutch release arm on the later model A's. I've got a picture of the different clutch arm but Blue Melon has changed the format and I'm having difficulty with my pictures. If I can figure it out, I'll post a picture later.

Uh Oh, I got clutch arms confused with brake arms. Guess I posted before I got my coffee.

I measured an early and later brake pedal and the arms
are the same length.
