Default Parts sources?

Well, it is re-assembly time. The little coupe is finally out of paint and back on jack stands while lots of careful time is spent putting it all back together.
Also, at this time is when we have discovered how crummy the old parts look like against the clean, new paint.

While I can find most of the needed parts, both small and large, I must ask, "does anyone make the little screws that go in the leading edge of the door on a 1934 3 window that hold the original latch assembly in place?". They are 10-32 with the traditional "Henry" oval, slotted head.
I can find Philips head, flat counter-sunk but the jump out like a disease when the door is opened.

Next, is there a source for a "kit" for the door glass? i.e. felt tracks, the back piece that fits in the "web" of the window and bottom felt track.
I tried today, either C&G or MAC's but whichever one it was said they are out of stock until JUNE! I really hope to be driving to an event or two before then... of course this is not a realistic hope but my dream then. Still have wiring, upholstery, back to the painter since we dinged the new paint yesterday and whatever else will come up to delay the reveal.

Those screws and door track are the current issues. I am looking locally for a good woodworker to rebuild the back window wood so we can install the original rear window regulator too.

Thank you.

and Bob Drake for the window kit

Roy Nacewicz also sells the '34 coupe rear window surround. Part number is RWS034CP. My old price list says $235.00. I have purchased some of his hard parts and they are good quality.

Call around to the various parts vendors for the window felts. I'm sure someone will have a set in stock. Try Scott Wagers of Wagers Ford parts in Salem, Oregon.Ph# 503-363-9975. I just got some parts from him when most other vendors were out of stock. Also check with the vendors listed on the Early Ford V-8 Club website. Many times the big vendors will be out of stock because that's the first place everyone calls. The smaller vendors don't get called as often and many times have what you need.

Thanks guys. I have tried the Roy N. phone only to get an answering machine. I will try next week as the next days are away from the phone.
Those little door screws are the toughest things to locate so I will keep plodding until I find them...

On the door screws did you check with your local Ace Hardware. I think my local store has them. Also go on line and check the various hardware dealers. Type in "stainless screws" in a Google search. Also check e-Bay

O.K. here's a source for the oval head slotted stainless steel 10-32 screws. Jamestown Supply Ph# 1-800-497-0010. The website shows they have them in stock.
