Question Are 1946-1948 Ford and Mercury lower door hinges adjustable?

Are 1946-1948 Ford and Mercury lower door hinges adjustable?
Or were these hinges screwed to the A pillars?

They were not designed to be adjustable.
Can you adjust them? Sure. Bending and / or shimming are two methods.

I shimmed the lower hinges on my ‘46 Mercury because the leading edges of my coupe doors were rubbing on the cowl panel when the doors were opened. The lower hinge screws are backed at the cowl post with nuts and lock washers. It’s a pain to get your hands in the access holes to get the nuts and washers on the screws. I had to use a magnet to retrieve the ones I dropped repeatedly.
